About
About this site.
A documentation site for Transmutarianism, published by Economy of Wisdom Foundation. The site is sibling to economyofwisdom.org and inherits its editorial styling.
What This Site Is
Transmutarianism is a framework that does for relational work what dollars do for goods: it counts what people absorb and emit to each other across care, harm, safety, and dignity. This site is the deep, public-facing version of the working paper and its applied case studies. The framework spine is at /framework/. The economic case for relational contribution as a market category is at /economic-case/. Four applied case studies are at /use-cases/. The empirical anchor (51 trauma-informed interviews in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside, March 2026) is at /evidence/.
The Foundation site at economyofwisdom.org covers the Foundation's broader portfolio: theory (this framework), evidence (Whose Values Train AI?), and infrastructure (Sigil.bot for attribution receipts, Wisdom Wallet for banking that survives the institution that issues it).
Foundation
Economy of Wisdom Foundation is a research foundation registered in British Columbia, Canada. The Foundation is self-funded across 2025 and 2026 and is opening to institutional and private partners on terms that protect research independence. Every research participant is paid at the point of contact. Every working paper is published with a permanent DOI and open access. Every infrastructure product is built so it continues to function if the Foundation does not.
The Foundation operates three lines of work: theory (Transmutarianism), evidence (community-based participatory research, beginning with the DTES study), and infrastructure (Sigil.bot live beta, Wisdom Wallet in design). The discourse-measurement extension of the framework is the work of the CCII Research Collective (paper in progress).
Two citable artifacts. The framework paper is Transmutarianism v13, published with a permanent DOI on Zenodo. The companion empirical paper is Whose Values Train AI?.
